5 March  Ash Wednesday. 

Service at 6pm: Imposition of ashes and Eucharist

7 March  World Day of Prayer.  2pm

Ecumenical service prepared by the WDP committee of the Cook Islands.

8 March (Saturday) Caird Hall, Dundee. 10am – 4pm

Fundraising Organathon. 20 minute recitals by 15 organists.  David is playing at 11.30- ish  Drop in at any time. Many excellent organists are taking part.

Holy Week and Easter Services

Holy Tuesday 15th April in St Mary’s, Newport at 6.00 pm: Tenebrae service

Holy Wednesday 16th April in St Margaret’s at 10.30 am: Stations of the Cross.

Maundy Thursday 17th April in St Mary’s, Newport at 6.00 pm: Paschal Meal.

Holy Saturday 19th April in St Mary’s, Newport at 6.00 pm: First Light service with candles.

Easter Day 20th April in St Margaret’s at 9.30 am: Easter Eucharist (jointly with St Mary’s).

“Easter is the demonstration of God that life is essentially spiritual and timeless.”

Join on on 22nd of December at 11 for a special Christingle service.

This is a special service in which children (young and old!) can create a ‘Christingle’ with an orange, some sweets and a candle, symbolizing light coming into the world.

Bring the whole family for an informal and enjoyable Christmas event.
