Beloved in Christ
It is so wonderful to be back to worship, to enjoy a blather afterwards, and, shortly, to be able to sing!
Of course our joy is heightened by the loveliness all around us!
The Prayer Course: we will continue with this course until school holidays and then take a break from the weeks of 23 June to 11 August. Should you be unable to join us on Zoom, on either Tuesday or Wednesday nights (7 or 8pm respectively), you might like to set aside time to look at the video and questions yourself. We found it easy to follow and practical. We hope you do too.

Here is some good news about new regulations on worship, from the Diocesan Advisory Group: Congregational singing is to be permitted in levels 0 and 1 from Monday 31 May. The Advisory Group guidance reproduces verbatim the new guidance from the Government. The Government Guidance indicates in relation to singing that “it is advised” that congregational members wear face coverings and maintain 2 m social distancing. If that sounds as though such requirements are optional, that is not the case since both are legal requirements in places of worship. Removal of face coverings is possible only for the permitted “small group” who may lead worship “from the front”.
UPCOMING EVENTS
June 6 the 6.30pm at the Parish church in Tayport on for a short service of music (Taize), candlelight and reflection! See attached. This is the first in our planned ecumenical series and we think this will offer something lovely for everyone, so do bring friends!
11 July: This Sunday service will be on the theme of ‘Mission for seafarers’.
21 June. LUNCH IN TAYPORT at 12 noon. We thought that a get-together after a vestry meeting to which all members are invited would be good. It will be a ‘bring and share’ light lunch so please diarise, and enjoy some recreation time

May it be a blessed Trinity Sunday, tomorrow, and every day, for you!
Grace and peace
